First Baptist Church of Paducah, KY - Loving God, Loving People

We are committed to speaking the truth of God’s Word, engaging students in the details of everyday life, and providing a haven for learning to navigate modern culture. The church has the privilege of providing biblical answers in a constantly changing world – our aim is to supply biblical and relevant resources to aid students as they mature into men and women of God.

Sunday Mornings

Bible Study
Sunday School classes are offered for all students, 6-12 grade. The youth group gathers at 9:50am in the Christian Outreach Center (C.O.C.) for a brief time with our student pastor, Jason Williams. Students and teachers then dismiss to age-graded classes. Adult leaders teach our student ministry bible studies. During this time students have the opportunity to fellowship with their peers while being challenged in small group Bible study.

Sunday Evenings

D-Groups meet the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings of each month. Students gather in the C.O.C. at 6:00pm during evening worship. Sunday evenings is a time designate for intentional discipleship of students. The format and formation of our discipleship groups varies from semester to semester.

Student & Family Bible Study typically meets the 2nd Sunday evening of each month, also at 6:00pm. Our goal is not only to provide an environment where families of students can study God's Word together, but also to purse deeper community.

Wednesday Evenings

Student Worship Service
Awaken is our student worship service, from 6:00pm to 7:15pm in the C.O.C. During the evening we will spend time in student-led worship, intentional Bible study and small group discussion. Students in 6-12 grade are encouraged to also bring their friends to this time of mid-week worship. Students from all walks of life are welcome.

Our Student & Family ministry offers a wide variety of ministry opportunities for the whole family. The following are a few of our upcoming events:

Student & Family Ski Trip – Winter Park, CO – March 31-April 7

Vacation Bible School – June 4-8

Student Mission Trip – New Orleans, LA – June 10-16

Camp 40 - Jonathan Creek, KY – June 22–24

Kentucky Changers – June 23-29

Super Summer Leadership Camp – Clinton, MS – July 16-20

Student Prayer Breakfast is planned every other Tuesday at 6:30am for a time of devotion, fellowship and prayer. Contact the church office for date and location of the upcoming student prayer breakfasts, and to coordinate transportation for your student form breakfast to their schools.
