Prayer Points
- Pray in thanksgiving that God our Father hears us and loves us even when it seems he has not heard nor responded to our pleas (Psalm 88:13).
- Pray for great growth in our faith in Jesus Christ as we study and listen to his Holy Word as Tolle Lege (Take Up and Read) instruction begins on August 10 (Romans 10:17).
- Pray for God the Holy Spirit to use the Beijing Olympics and our international missionaries to draw many people from all the nations to a saving belief in Jesus, the One and Only Savior (John 11:25).
- Pray for God to continue to give us his power by the Holy Spirit as his witnesses for the purpose of awakening our local community, our state, our nation, and the world to his salvation (Acts 1:8).
